I want to thank all past and present classmates who have contributed and have been apart of this event. Playing is optional but having a blast reuniting with fellow classmates is priceless. Seeing each other, talking story, and having fun was awesome. Come on Out and Join in on the FUN! See you next year!!!!!!

It has been along time, in my humble view, since we as a Class have been so wonderfully informed about one event (as important as it may have been) as we were for the SLAA Softball Tourney 2008, thanks so largely in part 9again in my humble view) to Tony Souza who send me (and I assume everyone else) e-mail after e-mail filled with important information, uplifting comments and energy supreme. It motivated me to again donate the monies needed to enter the tourney (together with the other, much more important "GREG" [as in Mr. Perry]). Our class is a fantastic group of motivated people, and I for one am very proud to be part of the mighty Class of 1979 and to call each of you my good friend and, more importantly, my Classmate.

Outstanding! What a terrific turn out. To all responsible, thank you for your commitment to a weekend of laughs and memories. After being stroked and liquored up, I have graciously accepted the coaching position for next year’s softball team. I have already been approached by several of our Brothers to donate goods and services. We could still use donations to make it a success. So please drop me a line if you can help out. Let’s start planning an outstanding weekend to kick off our celebration of 30 years from the slopes of Kaleapohaku. Also remember for those that want to play next year, stretches, throwing and batting practice. I will post updates as they become available.

Aloha James Santos
