Buy a Book, Raise Money for Saint Louis!

It's Saint Louis vs. Sacred Hearts in a Gentle(wo)man's Wager over who can raise the most funds this weekend.

It's happening at a Book Fair at Barnes & Noble, Kahala Mall, this Mother's Day weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 7-9.

Visit any Barnes & Noble to purchase Mother's Day gifts, summer reading or books for fun from May 7-9, and until May 14 for on-line purchases, to benefit Saint Louis School.

Use
SLS Coupon #10205862 and help us earn to up a 20 percent cash rebate. Sales are not limited to the Kahala location, and will include on-line purchases using the coupon number.

As for the wager? If Saint Louis wins, SHA principal Betty White has to wear the famous Saint Louis football jersey to work. (If Sacred Hearts wins, then SL president Walter Kirimitsu will have to wear an SHA soccer jersey.)

SLS and SHA students will provide FREE gift-wrapping services Friday between 3-6 pm and 7-10 pm.

And here's the schedule of events for Saturday, May 8:

1:00 - 4:00 pm:
Author Lance Tominage will sign copies of A Prophecy Fullfilled: The Story of Clarence T.C. Ching, a newly released biography of the philanthropic developer.

Also,
Ray Tam, '51, Ching's nephew, will share his uncle's legacy and his rags to riches story.

1:45 - 2:30 pm:
Walter S. Kirimitsu, '58 (SL President), Betty White (SHA Principal) and Patricia Hamamoto (SL Principal) will read from their favorite children's books.

2:30 - 4:00 pm:
SLS and SHA students will provide entertainment, fun and book reading.

Voucher coupons and more information can be found at SaintLouisHawaii.org.

See you at Kahala Mall!
